RPET felt is made by shredding post-consumer PET bottles, spinning the flake into fibre and needle-punching it into a dense, structured felt. Roughly twelve bottles go into every linear metre we use, and the whole conversion happens locally rather than being imported as finished cloth.
The result behaves nothing like the flimsy non-woven bag handed out at trade shows. It holds its shape empty, takes a crisp print, and is stiff enough that a delegate bag stands up on a registration table instead of collapsing.

When RPET is the right call, and when it is not
Choose felt when the bag needs to look engineered: corporate congresses, sustainability-led programmes, anything where a structured shape photographs well at registration. Choose heavy cotton instead when you want a bag delegates fold into a drawer and reuse for years, or when you want the softer, handmade look that printed cotton gives.

Is RPET felt actually recycled, or is that just marketing?
It is genuinely made from post-consumer PET bottles, and the conversion from bottle flake to fibre to felt happens in South Africa. We are happy to walk you through the chain for your own reporting rather than just handing you a claim.
How durable is a felt bag compared to cotton?
Felt holds structure far better and resists creasing, so it looks newer for longer on a shelf or a shoulder. Heavy cotton takes more abrasion and washes better. For a bag delegates carry for two days and then reuse occasionally, felt wins; for a daily-use tote, cotton does.
Can you print full colour on felt?
Felt takes solid, well-defined brand colours very cleanly. Fine gradients and photographic detail are less reliable on a textured surface, so we will tell you honestly how your artwork will land at the size you want and suggest adjustments before production.
What colours does RPET felt come in?
Availability moves with the production run, which is why we confirm current colours with every quote rather than publishing a chart that goes stale. Send your brand colours and we will tell you what is achievable now.
Is felt more expensive than cotton?
